Last month, 1500 children and their parents participated in the Simsim puppet tour created by our amazing partners the Canaan Institute.

In the gallery below, see a snapshot of the action from the first tour in 12 locations around Gaza city.

Thanks to the generous funding from Hope and Play supporters, the team has now launched a second tour.

The show is touring different locations around the Gaza city area to reach children who have been displaced from their homes by the war.

The second tour will continue the great work established through the first tour. The script has been specially developed to teach displaced children about their physical and mental health.

The show also provides a moment of relief for families from the fear and unimaginable horrors of war.

One of the first shows of the second Simsim puppet tour was in Gaza city’s municipal gardens, attended by 250 children.

Huge thanks to our resilient partners at Canaan Institute for their care, resourcefulness and incredible work to help Gaza’s children.
