Back in August, Hope and Play was approached by journalists Will and Grey, who wanted to go to Gaza and capture the essence and reality of children’s lives there, as well as the work being done by our key partners on the ground, the Canaan Institute of New Pedagogy.

The first coverage from that journey has been published by Vice magazine in Germany. In it, photographer Grey Hutton describes the environment in which the children are living through the artefacts that sprawl around them in the destruction. Powerful and haunting.
